Accessing signatures on SIMM's or CartridgesOpen Check Factory. Check Factory Menu, Checking Account Control, choose the account to add the signature to, choose the signature location, bottom, middle or top, enable the signature, click Signature Graphic. The image control will pop up. Locate the field at the lower left of the screen just below the words: Escape Codes for Printer Resident Graphic Image. You must have the escape code sequence provided by the SIMM or cartridge manufacturer. The codes will look something like the ones below: <esc>(201Q<esc>(sp2h72sb201T If there are less than 50 characters you may type them in the field. The above sequence is on multiple lines so you must use two vertical bars for the linefeed. You must aslo substitute the caret (^) for the <esc> symbol. The above codes would look like this typed in the field: ^(201Q^(sp2h72sb201T||abcdef||ghijklm If there are more than 50 characters in the sequence you will have to create a file in the CFACTORY\GRAPHICS folder that will contain the escape sequence then you will have to enter the file name in the field to tell Check Factory what file to use. The sample screen below points to the file CCTEST.TXT in the CFACTORY\GRAPHICS folder which would contain the following codes. Remember, your codes will be different. You must consult the manufacturers instructions. ^(201Q^(sp2h72sb201T The offset values adjacent and to the right of the codes field enable you to move the image relative to the signature line. DO NOT test print the image from the Image Control. Save the screen and use the Print Menu, Test Print Account in the Checking Account Control window.
