Upgrade procedure for Check Factory and Macola 7.6.200

Apply all the latest patches from Macola. The release on the 7.6.200 CD has a number of printing related issues. Also ask Macola support for ap08p2.dll which as of this date is not included in the service packs.

When printing reports in Macola, enable the font dialog. Make sure the font for each form is set to Courier and not Courier New or some other font.

Make sure the Check Factory printer on C:\LFECF000 on each station is using the HP Laserjet 4 driver and no other!

Please download the latest TXT files (modified Macola reports) to be imported in to each Macola company. They include form #20 for Check Factory. See the Software Setup Guide for instructions on how to import the reports.

If you are using Check Factory with Trans-Mit

Make sure the Transmit printer on C:\LFECF000 on each station is using the HP Laserjet III driver and no other!

You will probably have to perform the field installations again outlined in the Transmit Setup Guide. Almost like an initial install. Download the Trans-Mit TXT files for Form#55:

Unzip to each Macola Data folder. Use the Macola form import feature to import in to Macola. See the Software Setup Guide and the Trans-Mit setup guide.
