v 7.5 Updated Report files for Importing in to Macola Report Designer. (5/11/99)

They contain the Check Factory modified reports for use with Macola 7.5 and Check Factory v 2.x.

Each Check Factory modified report is identified as Check Factory.... and has a report number of #20.

Installation:

To install the above files unzip 75Rep.Zip to each of your data folders below Macola70. Follow the procedure in your Check Factory Software Setup Guide for Importing the modified reports. If you do not have a Software Setup Guide for Macola click HERE (m70.pdf).

If you are updating an existing installation, you may have Check Factory reports with a number of 10. These are obsolete and should be deleted. To delete a report:

Open Form Designer, select the Check Factory #10 report and make it the current report. Click on the Trash Can icon, answer Yes you wish to delete. Repeat for each Check Factory #10 report.

Problem: (reported 3/22/99):

User attempts to print something in Macola 7.5 to the Check Factory printer but the print job comes out at another printer without the form overlay and graphics. Check Factory pops up but says there have been zero pages printed.

Solution:

Some versions of Macola 7.5 appear to have a printing problem. No matter what printer is selected in Macola the print job will actually print to the default windows printer. In order to use Check Factory successfully you will have to make the Check Factory on C:\LFECF000 the windows default printer.

Problem:

Invoice headings do not match data output from Macola.

Solution:

Click here to download corrected invoice form, INVOICE.ZIP. Unzip to CFACTORY\FORMS folder. Replaces current INVOICE.F00.
