New AP Check Format for use on Windows 2000/XP
Problem:
Check Data prints several lines to high.
Solution:
The problem is not Check Factory but is the Windows 2000 generic printer
driver and BusinessWorks. It is not consistent in its output. It is printing
the check on the second page one line higher than the previous. You will
notice that the vouchers are in the same place but the check is not.
Whenever the check is too high we cannot see the check number at a specified row
and column position we print zeros.
1> Download and unzip apchk2k.zip to the CFACTORY
folder on your server.
2> Run Check Factory, Forms, Install Customization, select APCHK2K.EXP,
press OK. Minimize Check Factory
3> Setup BusinessWorks per the APSetup.PDF document listed above.
4> Print checks in BusinessWorks. Print a test form first. Adjust the top margin
to 4/16 inch.
When Check Factory pops up select the APCHK2K format.
